Cathy “Cat” Crosslin is the CEO and Managing Partner of Instar Performance, LLC.

Cathy specializes in organizational culture transformation, executive and leadership coaching, mental performance coaching for athletes and teams, improving union/management relationships, and cognitive behavioral training in all aspects of the criminal justice system.

Cathy’s training emphasizes personal accountability and practical daily actions and promotes a pragmatic, win-win approach that has proven popular and effective in business, athletics, and community agencies. Instar Performance’s education includes a mix of Cognitive Psychology, behavioral strategies, and sound leadership practices to ensure the teaching resonates in the moment and inspires lifelong change.

Cathy has a national reputation as a dynamic, inspiring, and compelling presenter. From boardrooms to locker rooms to the country’s toughest prisons, her clients and audiences love her passion, knowledge, and coaching and facilitation skills. Her engaging and interactive facilitation and coaching techniques help clients challenge not only their conventional thinking, but even their ways of thinking.

Cathy, a former college athlete and coach and now a successful business owner, brings her education and experience to leaders, groups, and individuals who desire to improve effectiveness and impact. She earned her B.A. in Psychology at Whitman College; her Masters in Education from Western Washington University.
